Checking my Ottawa Ferrari Festival Flickr archives, I haven't done much in the way of Autostitch panoramas since 2009. I actually took photos on Preston for Autostitch purposes last year, but I procrastinated stitching them and lost them all when my hard drive failed last autumn. This year I am taking no chances, I'm backing up the photos on DVD right as soon as I get back from the Demonstration Zone on Saturday and I'll try to do at least one Autostitch a day from the photos I took on Friday evening until they're all up.

One of the highlights of this year's Ottawa Ferrari Fest wasn't a Ferrari, it was this matte black Lamborghini Aventador. This was my first time seeing an Aventador in person. I initially thought it was the earlier Lamborghini Reventon, which looks very similar to the Aventador, but the tail lights are definitely those of an Aventador.
I continued the pan taking individual shots for Autostitch to the right because I thought the white Ferrari 458 Italia complimented the Dark Knight-esque Aventador quite splendidly. I was unable to do a clean crop of the finished Autostitch panorama in Photoshop with no borders without cutting off parts of the car, but I decided to partially crop it so that each car occupies a corner of the shot, and, also, because the front end of the Ferrari was rather unfortunately pointing towards someone's bottom in the uncropped shot (not my intention, when I'm panning, it takes several seconds, and I can't predict when someone at a crowded event will walk into the shot).
