Another shot of Slioch taken across a choppy Loch Maree. I had only moved 30 feet or so from my previous post for this image but by ignoring the foreground thought a wider aspect more suitable for the subject which was still catching some decent light.

This weekend's trip had a planned end-game of a sunset from the top of the Bealach na Bà. En-route we stopped to take in this view looking across Loch Shiedaig and Shieldaig village towards the snow-topped peaks of Beinn Alligin (Tom na Gruagaich) and Beinn Dearg. Though somewhat of a 'postcard image' the dappled light set the scene off nicely so here it is.

What will probably be Iain's and my last photo trip before Christmas took us to Torridon yesterday. A good call by Iain to head initially along Loch Maree was justified by some nice light on the snow-topped Slioch though a biting breeze required a long exposure to tame the water.

My second image from last week's Kase demo day. It was quite a struggle to find anything with the prevailing weather and light and the seashore at Stalker is not the prettiest. I did like this particular algae/lichen/moss covered rock with a curtain of seaweed and tried to balance it with a tighter crop on the castle.

I attended a Kase filter demo day at Castle Stalker yesterday. Although good to get to try out some Kase filters my motivation to make the 3 hour drive was to meet the demo hosts, Adam Gibbs (who I have followed on YouTube since 'lockdown') and Paul Thomson. We were not blessed with the best conditions, very overcast and flat light, but I managed a couple of images I was reasonably happy with of which this is the first. Great to have the opportunity to chat with these 2 excellent photographers though.
