I received a package today from a member of my knot exchange group on Facebook(Chuck Alford) www.facebook.com/groups/118184061707414/

Included is a small marlinspike made by Chuck, with two-tone blue Guacho knot in the top groove, a key fob in black and orange paracord - with 4 strand round braid(spiral) around a thimble, Spanish ring knot, Gaucho knot, and Matthew Walker knots.

A cool pineapple knot and star knots on display stand, that also serves to hold the marlinspike(or ink pen if I keep it on my desk)...

In today's mail: A 50 foot hank of glow-in-the-dark paracord(white) that I bought off ebay(US seller) to try.

The CoolGlowStuff site where I used to get decent glow cord(not paracord) is no longer up, so finally giving this version a go. The outer sheath looks good, but the inner strands(9 twisted nylon) look a bit lumpy in sections, which is okay if I gut the cord, but annoying if left in.

Will have to set it next to some of the old glow cord overnight to compare brightness/longevity...

Horseshoe nails bent to shape a cross, then knotted over with 0.9mm cord, using a long 4 bight turk's head knot, 5 lead 4 bight knot, two Gaucho knots, and 'X' lashing around the center, all with one single continuous length of cord. Paracord added for necklace/lanyard attachment.
