Flying from Bucharest Airport is still civilized: you get an excellent Italian expresso in a cup; a glass -and not some plastic beaker for your water and, yes, if you wish you can smoke a cigarette, not in a glass cubicle or in a windowless cell next to the toilets but in a spacious lounge. And they do call your flight... And for the non-smokers there is even a larger lounge and the expresso is as good.
