One of the best times to take photos in Venice is in the early morning. The light plays with the buildings in surprising ways. Also, since most of the city is not a grid-pattern, you never know what you’ll see as you look down one canal or cross the next bridge. It’s like a fabulous Venice-randomizer! This is one of the largest and most famous buildings in Europe. The inside of the Duomo is so vast that it can hold 40,000 people, which is more than most football stadiums.
