Remnants of the old bridge that crossed over the Blackmore River. I suspect this was part of the old road formerly Darwin River Road from the Stuart Highway to Tumbling Waters, the road was renamed after construction of bridge over Blackmore River, together with rest of road leading to Cox Peninsula. Another possibility could be one of the old telegraph poles to Southport Port, that was demolished in 1890's.
