One of the buses providing the shuttle service between York railway station and the racecourse for the Ebor Festival is Harrogate & District 13, a Leyland Olympian ON2R50C13Z4 with Leyland bodywork which was new to Armchair, Brentford in 1991 for services in London. It subsequently ran for Blue Bus (Horwich), Blackburn Transport and Lancashire United before becoming a school bus in Harrogate.

Standing in Crystal Peaks Bus Station, Yorkshire Terrier UWX 64X is a Leyland National 2 NL116AL11/1R. New in 1981 as West Yorkshire Road Car 1522, it passed to Harrogate & District (no. 338) and was acquired by Terrier in 1997.

Hyndburn Transport 81 is standing in Leeds Central Bus Station. It is a Leyland Tiger TRCTL11/3R with Plaxton Paramount 3200 Express coachwork, new in 1983 as Barton Transport 621. It retains Barton livery in this view.

It subsequently passed to Lancaster City Transport (no. 621), Keighley & District (no. 248), where it was reregistered JIL 2216, and Harrogate & District (no. 307).

It passed to London Country North East and thence to Sovereign and later County Bus & Coach before transfer to Yorkshire and spells with both Keighley & District (no. 245) and Harrogate & District (no. 305) before coming to East Yorkshire.

Harrogate & District 172 is waiting in the town centre. It is a Leyland Swift LBM6T/2RAO with Wadham Stringer Vanguard II bodywork. It was new to Jetsie (Golden Boy), Hoddesden in 1989 and passed to County Bus & Coach (no. SW472) before coming to Harrogate in 1992.
