Rossendale Transport 310 is operating service X76 to Manchester. It is a Leyland Leopard PSU3C/4R with Plaxton Supreme coachwork which was new to Ellen Smith, Rochdale in 1977.

Later in 1992 the chassis would be rebodied by East Lancs as a service bus and in 1993 it would be reregistered as PJI 9177.

VOY 182X is a Leyland Tiger TRCTL11/2R with Plaxton Viemster IV Express coachwork. New in 1981 as British Airways C315, it was acquired by Rossendale Transport for the Ellen Smith subsidiary in 1996 from Cartmel (Border Tours), Burnley.

Border Buses' HTD 589N stands in the coach park at Doncaster racecourse surrounded by more modern machinery. It is a 39' Leyland Leopard PSU5A/4R with Plaxton Panorama Elite III coachwork seating 57. It was new in 1975 to Ellen Smith, Rochdale.
