Standing in a hotel car park near to Lincoln City Bus Station, First Northampton no. 7 is a Volvo B10M with Plaxton Premiere 350 coachwork. New to Ambassador Travel, Great Yarmouth (no. RO4) in 1996, registered N378 EAK, in 1999 it passed to Northampton Transport where it was reregistered NTL 655.

It subsequently moved to First Hampshire & Dorset after gaining FirstGroup no. 20055.

A view looking inside Northampton Transport's depot sees PXI 8935 in the centre of the photograph. It is a Leyland Tiger TRCL10/3RZA with Duple 340 coachwork. New in 1987 as Eastern Scottish YL352 and originally registered E352 KSF, it was reregistered A12 SMT for a while before transfer to Northampton in 1996.

Northampton Transport 25 is a Leyland Leopard PSU3E/4R with Alexander AYS bodywork. It was new in 1978 as Alexander Midland MPE297, in due course passing into the ownership of GRT Holdings. It was transferred to Leicester Citybus (no. 25) and later moved to Northampton.

It was later used by Yorkshire Rider as a driver training bus (no. 9973), eventually becoming First West Yorkshire 90090.
