No. 3 in David Coster's Citilink fleet is 741 DYE. It is an AEC/Park Royal Routemaster which was new in 1963 as London Transport RM1741. After withdrawal by LT, it passed to the fledgling Stagecoach company in Perth in 1985 and later moved to Magic Bus in Glasgow before acquisition by Coster.

After Coster's business closed, it passed to East Yorkshire as fleet no. 809.

Taylor's JOV 741P is picking up in Vicar Lane, Leeds. It is an Ailsa Volvo B55 with Alexander AV bodywork. New in 1976 as West Midlands PTE 4741, it passed to London Buses in 1986, becoming V41 in the Harrow Buses fleet.

The former BYX 310V hurries through the centre of San Francisco on sightseeing duties. It is an MCW Metrobus DR101/12 with MCW bodywork, new conventional closed top form in 1980 as London Transport M310. It was converted to open top for use by The Original Sightseeing Tour in London before export to the USA. It has had an additional door fitted on the driver's side behind the staircase.

At one time the Sandtoft Gathering was preceded by a road run from Doncaster Racecourse. Just setting off, KLB 908 is an 8 foot wide Leyland PD2 6RT with Leyland bodywork, new in 1949 as London Transport RTW178. It subsequently spent years with Stevenson, where it was rebuilt with platform doors, before being secured for preservation.
