Hartlepool Transport 101 is pulling into Leeds Central Bus Station on a pre-Christmas shopping excursion. It is a Leyland Leopard PSU3E/4R with Plaxton Supreme IV Express coachwork. It was new to Roberts (Vale of Llangollen Tours), Cefn Mawr in 1980, originally registered UMA 953V. Reregistered UAM 829 in 1984, it became XCC 94V in 1985 and was acquired by Hartlepool in 1986.

Vale of Llangollen Travel VLT 149 is a Volvo B10M with Jonckheere Deauville coachwork, painted in Cosmos contract livery. It was new in 1994, originally registered L4 VLT.

NSP 312R is picking up in Wrexham bus station on the service to Cefn Mawr. It is an Ailsa Volvo B55 with Alexander bodywork, new in 1976 as Tayside Public Transport 112.

It would later be reregistered as 4384 VT.

Seen arriving in Wrexham bus station, 8701 VT is an Ailsa Volvo B55 with Alexander RV bodywork. It was new in 1984 as Merseyside PTE 0073, registered A155 HLV.

Rhymney Valley no. 2 is standing in Newport bus station. It is a Leyland Leopard PSU3B/2R with Willowbrook bodywork, which was new to Caerphilly UDC in 1972. It remains in Caerphilly livery.

Withdrawn in 1985, it was acquired by Roberts, Vale of Llangollen Tours, Cefn Mawr and was reregistered as CTO 902K in 1987. It passed to Harris, Fleur-de-Lys in 1989.
