The first USA sighting of a Pine Flycatcherwas discovered at Choke Canyon State Park. Birders from all over the world are traveling to the state park to view the bird. The Pine Flycatcher (Empidonax affinis) is a species of bird in the Tyrannidae family, the tyrant flycatchers. It is found in the mountain ranges of Mexico; also southwest Guatemala. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montanes.
