A familiar monument at Marley Station, "WISH" was the latest in a series of four sculptures crafted by William Crutchfield, commissioned by the mall's original developer A. Alfred Taubman. The testament to humanity and the English language has survived a few decades and many sales of the mall's shuffled ownership and still resides near the JCPenney court.
Crutchfield's other structures reside in other former or currently owned Taubman centers like Westfarms in Connecticut.
