One of many A&W locations around the Detroit area but not as unique as this survivor on Eureka Road in Southgate. Opening in the late 1960's to the chain's once "pagoda" or volcano-style roof and another quasi-mansard style many fast food chains adapted by this time still retains the vintage charm with drive-up kiosks and awning for car service. This location does not feature a dining room but has an inviting, sidewalk approachable patio area.
