A once described olympic-sized fountain at Danbury Fair Mall was a place where a kid could make use of pennies as sort of a wishing well. Today, this fountain is a central seating court where a much scaled back fountain is -- not like this one! This archival photo shows us on the mall's second level, admiring its glory.

The unforgettable earth tones of the since renovated Danbury Fair Mall. The tiles, which doned the mall's flooring since 1986 are gone, replaced for a modern white-tones tile. Luckilly, the owners have kept true in tones with the original center, retaining a caramelized look throughout.

The classic Danbury Fair Mall "shining star" tiled logo from the original 1986 mall. These logos were once scattered about the lower levels but in later years, disgracefully shrouded with benches, seating planters and kiosks. We managed to capture one before the Spring 2007 renovation.
