One of the first TARGET stores to open in Connecticut in October 2000. In 2011, the chain finally removed the "Greatland" banner from its name but still keeps the double entrances from yesteryear store layouts.
The "Greatland" moniker was unveiled in 1990 was a in-house brand and concept advertising larger stores (if you'd lived in a market with existing TARGET stores, you may understand this easier) with added amentites.
Today, this location has been painted and the colored bars above both entrances were painted white to match the store. The interior layout still mirrors the earlier layout when the store opened.
This is the only store in Connecticut with double entrances.
