A vacant KFC on Ella Grasso Turnpike (CT-75) in Windsor Locks, CT. This location was one of two in Connecticut and one of eight closed in March 2011 following the franchise owner Jesse Lanier's retirement after 27 years. Though it's unknown what will become of them or if they'll reopen, they hang in the limbo of vacancy.

This building was clocked at 1971 as it's year of conception but lights in the lot suggest there was an IHOP here at some point earlier.
