The personal security detachment for the Wisconsin National Guard’s 724th Engineer battalion rolls out on a convoy training mission at Fort McCoy, April 7. The High Mobility Multi-Purpose Wheeled Vehicles, or HMMWVs, used in training at Ft. McCoy, have been replaced on convoy missions in Iraq and Afghanistan with Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicles like the “Bus” variant to the left.
