The Army National Guard’s Soldier and Noncommissioned Officer of the Year for 2009 were recently announced at the 38th annual conference of the Enlisted Association of the National Guard of the United States in Rochester, Minn. SANTA FE, New Mexico — On April 28, 2011. Sgt. Guy Mellor, gunner for B Battery 1st of the 145th Field Artillery and Spc. Alexandria Jacobson, an administrative specialist for Headquarters, Headquarters Company of the 204th Mobile Enhancement Brigade won, both, Soldier and NCO of the year in the Utah Competition help in March and moved on to the regional championship held in Santa Fe, NM.
