Animation of two SamCam pictures taken by OSIRIS-REx spacecraft just before and after contact with Bennu surface. Pictures were aligned on the ground to highlight regolith disturbance at contact.
Upon contact, the collector head touched one rock which just disintegrated like it was made of fairy dust.
