This is my other trike (usually driven by my wife): a HP Velotechnik Scorpion fs recumbent trike with BionX electric support (Pedelec).
A recumbent trike is by far the most comfortable and safe human powered vehicle I can imagine.
The Scorpion fs is a full suspension trike that is equipped with a Shimano XT 27s with bar end shifters, coupled Tektro Auriga brakes, the dynamo hub powered brilliant Edelux LED light (never seen anything brighter on a bike) and the ErgoMesh seat. (The other trike has the Bodylink seat with airflow cushion and head rest).
The electric power assist system BionX PL250HT flattens the landscape. You can see the battery wrapped into a nylon case below the seat. The electric motor is placed within the rear wheel. There is even a recuperation mode that you can adjust in four levels. It is also activated when using the disc brakes and helps to charge the battery while driving. (You do not need to use the electric support, if you don´t want to. It is always optional.)
The only thing missing is a larger topcase for my camera equipment, but time will tell...
