Central Hall Chatham. Former Methodist hall converted to a theatre - but a poor substitute for the Theatre Royal. Opened (as a church) in March 1908, designed by Gordon & Gunton of London and built by West Bros of Rochester & Strood. It was sold by the Methodists in 1966 and was converted to a theatre shortly after. Seats just under 1,000 in stalls and balcony.

Chatham Theatre Royal. Designed by G E Bond, opened 1899, used as a warehouse after closure, and was on the brink of restoration, but ultimately largely demolished.
