View On Black, it really is better...

Leaving the long exposure comfort zone... and entering the dark woods
Taking good photos of forests is a discipline in photography that I consider the most difficult and challenging. Especially in Black and White. How do you deal with all the nuances in light, tones and contrasts and how do you translate it to B&W? How do you deal with the composition? I've been struggling for months with the hundreds of treeshots I have. I think I've come to a point now that I think that I have a result that can be presented. But I still have a long way to go.
This is the first in the series for which I've been inspired by photographer Paul Hart
