On our hike a couple of days ago, near where we found the Deer Shed, I took 5 vertical shots with my 180 Macro to make this Pano. I find this technique makes interesting wide landscape images. Things are compressed and look closer than they are with this perspective.
This Arroyo is one of many, in places its over 100 ft wide and 50-75 ft dp. It's a little scary to walk up to the edge, you never know when the loose soil will chunk out and collapse under your feet. Funny thing, the Cows have no fear, their trails are sometimes right on the edge and go on and on..

This afternoon I stepped out onto the deck and was treated to a light show that only lasted a few minutes. The sky was turning overcast, and the Sun was poking thru illuminating the snow blowing off the tops of the peaks. It gets incredibly windy up near the top of both East and West Peak. The chill factor must be crazy up there.

Went back to my favorite local falls. This is a 4 vertical shot pano shot at 28mm 1/10 sec @ f11. It was so loud, we had some significant rain fall recently. It was so peaceful I could have taken a nap.
