Agfa Vista ISO 200 film from Poundland, developed in the Rollei Digibase C41 kit.
There was a problem with the shutter at times. There were four lenses with it, 28mm, 50mm, 135mm and 35-105mm zoom, all Rolleinar branded and in the same packaging as the camera, I'm not sure why, but with the 28mm and 135mm lens, the shutter failed to open, though it all sounded normal at the time, and it wasn't until I saw the negatives that I realised they were completely unexposed. If it hadn't been an SLR I would have though I'd left the lens cap on!

There are 8 trees on Tay Street alongside a memorial plaque dedicating the Tay Street trees to the ‘’Crookesmoor Boys’’, (77 former pupils of Crookesmoor School, Oxford Street, Crookesmoor). Further recent research has established that in actual fact the beautiful trees on Oxford Street, are also part of the same WW1 Memorial. They were planted on 20th March 1917 through funds raised through Crookemoor School and the local community. The site as a whole has been registered at The War Memorials Trust and also Imperial War Museums Memorials Register. The centenery of this planting will be marked the Sunday before the 20th March 2017.
There will be a special event held to commemorate this centenary anniversary on Sunday 19th March. There will be a two minute silence for the fallen servicemen and each serviceman will be honoured in a street long display of 77 Commonwealth War Grave Certificates alongside further details researched by STAG and The Woodland Trust. A further pop up exhibition on Crookes Valley Road at the top of Oxford Street will set out the Sheffield Tree Action Groups Campaign to date with additional mapped information on the servicemen commemorated by the memorial trees in both Crookes and Crookesmoor.
This centenary event seeks to publicise and reinstate these trees as the poignant memorials they are and highlight the need for their protection from Sheffield City Council’s ‘Streetsahead’ programme which has condemned 9 of the 31 healthy trees
