This is my contribution to the Abstract Show which opens at the Fronteer Gallery in Sheffield this evening.

When I visit museums and art galleries, I often find my eye drawn to the ancillary elements of the display. Shadows cast by frames and display cases, barriers and markers can form their own abstract visual compositions. Museum Shadows is a composite of 64 such details, individually of little consequence, but together forming an intriguing abstract design.
