Last week, after a lot of thought and deliberation, I decided to part exchange both my Canon 5D and my Canon 1D Mk IV for a Canon 1D X. I lost surprisingly little money on the two bodies when doing a deal with Mifsuds Photographic in Devon.
I have had the new camera for a few days now and have so far found it to be excellent. It really is both my previous cameras rolled into one....and then some!
This Little Egret pic is from today with the 1D X. Tracking birds in flight with this camera is remarkably easy using back-button focusing and your finger pressed firmly down on the shutter button.
