I just returned from my trip to Singapore. I took this sunset shot at Sentosa Island, which has many sights and activities. I enjoyed just sitting on the beach at sunset the most though.

One of the highlights to my visit to Singapore was seeing the wild monkeys during my hike at the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve. This little monkey was one of about 15 playing around the rest area at the top of the mountain. She posed for me, then I gave her the camera and I posed for her. Unfortunately, she could not figure out how to operate the zoom lens, so her shot of me did not come out so good ; )

There is a great view of the Singapore Central Business District at the Raffles Landing Sight across from Boat Quay. My good friend William and I roamed around the Quay and many good night shots of the city that evening.

Pulau Ubin (Rock Island in Malay) is a small island that is actually part of Singapore about a 15 minute bumboat ride from the big island of Singapore. It is the only true historic part of Singapore that is remains. Pulau is undeveloped except a few abandoned quarrys and small villages with the few remaining local people that live there.

My friend William and I biked around the entire island to take in the sights. We saw a giant monitor lizard that stretched the entire width of the road, but did not see the elusive wild boars during our ride.

The Chinese Garden in Singapore was quite amazing. It is much bigger than I expected, so I spent many hours there seeing all of the amazing sights. This shot is a 3 exposure HDR image.
