Waikiki and the rest of Oahu one of the most beautiful places on earth. The weather is perfect and the sunsets are amazing. The Hawaiian people are the friendliest people and the food is outstanding too! I just flew home today and already miss it!

One of the most beautiful temples that I have ever seen is the Byodo-In Temple on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. This temple is the replica of a 900 year old Buddhist Temple in Japan. The Ko'olau mountain range provides an amazing background for this amazing place.

There is a daily sunset show in Waikiki and nearly everyone comes out to see it. On Friday nights, you can even stick around and catch the fireworks! I caught this amazing sunset during my visit to Hawaii last week.

One of the best spots to watch the sunsets and the Friday night fireworks is the Waikiki Beach Pier. I may have lucked out, but there were very few people on the pier when I caught the sunset earlier this evening. The boogie boarders like to play chicken with the end of this pier. They turn just before they hit the wall, while their buddies jump down on them from the top of the pier. All in good fun!

The beach front at Waikiki Beach in Hawaii, is amazing just after the sun sets. The glow of the city lights light up the water. Torches are lit all over the Waikiki and the bands begin to play.
