The Mekong Delta is the region in southwestern Vietnam where the Mekong River approaches and empties into the sea through a network of tributary rivers. I explored this part of the Mekong Delta by river boat, canoe and Tuk Tuk bikes on the islands.

Ho Chi Minh City Hall, renamed the People's Committee Head office in 1975, was built in 1902-1908 in a French colonial style for the city of Saigon. Large crowds of people gather to socialize in the long pedestrian street in front of this building when the sun goes down and it cools off in the city.

Saigon Central Post Office is located downtown Ho Chi Minh City, near the Saigon Notre-Dame Basilica. This elegant building was constructed when Vietnam was part of French Indochina in the late 19th century. It is still a working post office and full of history.
