The King have introduced an extra war-tax which is voluntary, the sherif who collects their tax notes it all down in the book and their contribution, those without gold or silver can contribute in good and or animals if they collect enough money the king has promised a feast and perhaps even some tournament games, but that is only if they reach above the preset level...
The King does notice that the wizard is not on the square this day and he doubt that he will find him noted in the book for contributing even a single copper penny
