I had previously posted this. For some reason I must have deleted it. So here is a repost. This is one of my trips to Byron glacier. This was shot inside The large ice cave. Towards the back there was this skylight like hole.

There isn't a picture that can give you the full grandeur of this cave. Surrounded by brilliant blue ice. The chill in the air. Ice that has seen thousands of years and that could collapse at any minute. So scary. So amazing! My home, Alaska, a once in a lifetime experience.
