This is part of my panorama shot that I posted earlier in the week, I didn't like how the colors turned out on that one. I am a lot happier with the way that this one turned out. What do you think?

Not realizing that this was going to be a spectacular solar storm I packed my gear after this shot. The elusive Northern Lights escapes again.

The beginning of a spectacular Northern Lights show that I missed by about 30 minutes. It was around 3am and I was tired so I decided to head home. Little did I know that in about 30 minutes there would be a multi colored Northern lights show. A friend posted pictures and showed me what I missed. DOH!
