Took a trip up to Flat Top this afternoon. The last time I was here the temperatures were around 10 degrees and it was the middle of winter.

Another angle of the hillside sunset. I tried to capture more color on the ground to match the colors in the sky. I just moved a few feet to the side and was able to capture the small red plant and yellow flowers.

This location is the Glen Alps Anchorage outlook. It is the beginning point of the popular hike of Flat top mountain. In the far distance to the right is Mt. McKinely(Mt. Denali). To the center left of the picture is Mt. Susitna(Sleeping Lady).

The end of a very disappointing night. As you can see the northern lights are peeking out from behind the clouds. The last two days the skies have been clear during the day. As soon as nightfall the clouds move back in.
