Italian postcard. Unione Cinematografia Italiana UCI). Ed. L'Argentografica, Turin, No. 3052. Scene from Quo vadis? (Gabriellino D'Annunzio, Georg Jacoby, UCI 1924), based on the classic novel by Henryk Sienkiewicz. Nero's Palace. The man in the litter on the foreground is André Habay who plays Petronius. Set design was by R. Ferro and G. Spilani, but the set of Nero's palace was by architect Armando Brasini. It was actually an existing structure, the so-called Palazzo dei Festeggiamenti, part of the Mostra del Lazio (1923), reused for the film.
