Mt. Shasta is the second most southerly mountain in the Cascade Range and acts like a divide between northeastern and northwestern California. Snowcapped Mt. Shasta stands 14,162 feet in elevation, alone and massive in size, isolating itself from the rugged peaks that surround it.

I had no idea what title to give these 4 pictures. I saw this jeep in Moab, Utah and was amazed by the ingenuity. In case you can’t identify some of the parts, I have included a partial metal parts list below:

Tires are rusty tools
Seats are tractor seats and wrenches
License plates for body
Industrial size nuts and bolts
Backhoes, picks and shovels
Sawblades
Industrial sprockets and springs

So much metal work, I thought it was truly a work of art. Enjoy.

'Another Photo of Crater Lake' Large On Black

Crater Lake is located in Southern Oregon on the crest of the Cascade Mountain range, 100 miles east of the Pacific Ocean. It lies inside a caldera, or volcanic basin, created when the 12,000 foot high Mount Mazama collapsed 7,700 years ago following a large eruption.

Generous amounts of winter snow, averaging 533 inches per year, supply the lake with water. There are no inlets or outlets to the lake. Crater Lake, at 1,943 feet deep, is the seventh deepest lake in the world and the deepest in the United States.
