inside delgadillo's snow cap drive-in, seligman, arizona
you won't ever see a bigger smile on my face then the days i roll into seligman for my once-a-trip stop at the snowcap. the snowcap has been passing out laughs and all-around good vibes (as well as excellent food) on route 66 since 1953. by now i've seen all the gags and jokes that the delgadillos use on unsuspecting visitors and i still can't wait to see them again. you wont find a better "real americana experience" anywhere else.
covering the walls are thousands of business cards, id cards, photos, stickers and just about anything anyone had on them from the thousands of visitors that have passed through these doors. (passing through the doors is much harder than one would expect. when you visit, you'll see why.) just out of frame on the window on the left you'll find my trek leader card as well as most of my friends.
