THIS PROJECT: The Long Walk
October 5, 2007. Foggy morning. I left my apartment at the Arc de Triomphe, and headed to Trocadero to shoot the Tower in the fog. Then I decided to walk some more. I strolled through Passy, crossed the river at Radio France, walked along a market street in the 15e, and arrived Parc André Citroen. The Long Walk. finished with a Metro ride to the Madeleine.

... greeting the day, planning for the new year.
I drove over to Gyro Park on Cadboro Bay. The park is known to kids in the area for its giant marine life play structures. Today, though, I was attracted by the starkness of the three lonely benches looking out over the bay and at the sky. Like the three fates, I thought to myself.
This is one of those photos that doesn't look like much in the normal Flickr size, so it's best viewed larger.
