I had a project at work (I work for the City of Seattle) recently on another historic landmark in Belltown that kind of inspired a little walk to look for some of these landmarks that people may miss over the summer. The Harvard-Belmont area is particular is often one that people miss even though the character of the buildings is so district in comparison to its surroundings.

Located on the west slope of Capitol Hill, the Harvard-Belmont Landmark District is significant to the City of Seattle as a well-preserved, essentially residential neighborhood which retains its individual identity as an area of fine homes built by the city's leading financiers, industrialists, merchants, and businessmen in the early years of the twentieth century.
