This image is part of a series of images taken over the course of about 90 minutes early Christmas morning 2011. The light was perfect, there wasn't a single soul around, there was no car traffic, and the usual background hum of the city was very subdued. It was absolutely peaceful. Just Gehry and me - what was this guy thinking?

Santa Lucia Hill is a remnant of a 16 million year-old volcano in the middle of Santiago. Altitude 629 m, 69 m above the surroundings.

The peak offers great vistas in all directions all over Santiago.

The Reflection Series offers a more personal interpretation of these vistas from the top of Santa Lucia Hill.
