It’s been a while since I could show you all a new creation. So I am very happy to finally lift the curtain on what I have been working on. I have the incredible opportunity to be part of the LEGO House Masterpiece gallery for a year and I wanted to design a model specially for the exhibit.
I call the model Kiyohime (清姫), as it is loosely based on ‘The Legend of Anchin and Kiyohime’ (安珍・清姫伝説). Kiyo, after having her love rejected by Anchin, falls into a rage. She transforms into a dragon and chases him into a temple. This tale inspired me to build a tree that violently bursts from the ground and wraps around a Pagoda, like it is possessed by a vengeful spirit.
