I was honestly SHOCKED when I saw this, I was just walking along eating and I stopped suddenly and was just stunned at the size of the moon and it was very low. I litereally ran the whole way back to my apartment, I thought I could take photos from my balcony but because the moon was so low (and I only live on the 3rd floor) I couldn't see it. So I took my tripod and set it up on the street road where I could have a clear view ... typically by the time I was set up, there was a HUGE black cloud in front of the moon... I waited 1 hour - until all the cloud had passed to take this shot!!! Unfortunately the moon had gotten smaller but I was so determined to get a shot of the moon like this I had waited long enough so I had to take the photo! I am so happy I was so patient! It was so worth it!!!!
