For a single guy, I see a lot of romantic sunsets every year. This evening was quite special though; the sunset came in strong with rain clouds looming to the east. I had never photographed that particular kind of light before.

This was arguably one of the best sunsets this summer, if not the best. The place is kind of strange, in part a nice residential area with a boardwalk pathway along the water, in part a construction site with excavators and such.

This is my 1400th upload, representing about 1400 days as a photographer. Almost four years now.

This fabulous, almost dream-like, castle is actually located just outside my own hometown. It's some kind of medieval Normandy styled architecture, built in 1848. What's more, it's a private residence! Who wouldn't want to be able to call such a place home?
