My grandfather passed away early this year. His family has owned a summer house on this location since the 1950s and this was grandma's first summer here alone. She's 89 now and you can tell the house is becoming increasingly decrepit. A sad testament to my childhood memories, yet that's the natural circle of life. Thankful that I've gotten to visit a few times this season.
