In 2007, Pavarini McGovern was in the construction phase of a new luxury hotel for André Balazs' Hotels AB, designed by Polshek Partnership Architects, straddling the
HighLine through the hotel's perforated concrete facade. Once complete, The Standard will rise to 20-stories and consist of 205,000-SF with 340 units. The new structure will also include three levels of back-of-house, meeting rooms and public access space, as well as one basement level.
