This garage at 2066 Crist Drive in Los Altos, the Jobs' family house, is the birthplace of Apple Computer. It was here that Steve Jobs and Stephen Wozniak worked on their first personal computers. Jobs' father removed his beloved car-restoration equipment and helped the boys by hauling home a huge wooden workbench that served as Apple's first manufacturing base.
