Memorial Clock Tower of Niagara-on-the-Lake, or Cenotaph, was dedicated on June 3, 1922 as a memorial to the town residents who sacrificed their lives in the First World War. The tower was designed by Toronto architect Charles M. Wilmott. Names were later added to commemorate those who died in service during World War II and the Korean War.

Niagara District Court House, better known as the Court House Theatre, was built to the Neo-classical design of Toronto architect William Thomas by Grave and Co. for the then Niagara District between 1846 and 1847. The building was used as one of the venues for the 1850 Provincial Agricultural Fair of Canada West and continued to serve as a courthouse until 1863, at which point it served as town hall and jail until 1866. It became an orphanage for girls from England from 1869 to the early 20th century. In 1962 tis became home to the Shaw Festival. In 2018 it was retired as an active performance venue and re-purposed for rehearsals, training, education, and expanded audience programs.

The Niagara Apothecary has operated out of this white, single-story clapboard Georgian building, which probably dates to the 1820s, since an 1866 renovation that saw Italianate windows weer installed. It continued operation under a series of successive owners, most of whom had apprenticed under the preceding owner, until 1964 when it was purchased by the Niagara Foundation, and later reopened in 1971 as a Confederation-era apothecary museum by the Ontario Heritage Foundation. The storefront has gone by the former names of The Niagara Apothecary at the Sign of the Golden Mortar, Starkwather and Brown, Niagara Apothecary, Randall’s Drug Store, Coyne Drugs, and Field's Drugstore.

A gated crypt inside the Basilique-Cathédrale Marie-Reine-du-Monde contains the tombs of the city's archbishops and cardinals, including that of Bishop Ignace Bourget.

Basilique-Cathédrale Marie-Reine-du-Monde, at 1085 rue de la Cathédrale, a one-quarter scale model of Saint Peter's Basilica in Rome, was consecrated in 1894 as Cathédrale Saint-James. Construction, which began in 1875 under Fr. Joseph Michaud, was ordered by Mgr. Ignance Bourget, second bishop of Montreal, to replace the former Cathédrale-Saint-Jacques Cathedral, which burned in 1852, as the seat of the Roman Catholic archdiocese of Montreal. The cathedral was made into a minor basilica in 1919 by Pope Benedict XV, and rededicated in 1955 to Mary, Queen of the World, by Pope Pius XII at the request of cardinal Paul-Émile Léger. At the time of its completion, it was the largest church in Québec, and today is the third largest at 4,700 square meters.

The Baroque Revival style building is characterized by a prominent narthex built in coursed ashlar, surmounted by a monumental dome, 77 meters in height. Instead of the statues of the twelve apostles on the façade of St. Peter's, the front of the church is topped by statues of the patron saints of thirteen parishes of Montreal who donated them, including St. John the Baptist and St. Patrick. The interior, which is also copied from St. Peter's, includes a baldachin, which is a scale model of Gian Lorenzo Bernini's original.
