Here's the view looking towards Best Buy. The entire left wall was originally. When Penney's closed, the owners of the mall split the store in three leaving spaces that Best Buy, Dick's Sporting Goods & Borders would occupy. Since then Borders has been replaced by a karate studio.

I'm guessing the owner wants exterior access in addition to having interior, so the entrance is being remodeled.
