The gem of Granada and Andalusia, Alhambra glows in the lights at dusk as the clouds dissipate from the Sierra Nevada in the background. The closest buildings were built in the 14th century, and include the Nazrid Palaces on the left and the Alcazaba (main fortress) on the right. In the back on the left are the Christian additions built after the Reconquista in the 17th century, including the Palacio de Carlos V and the Iglesia de Santa María de la Encarnación.

This is a five shot panorama stitched together in Lightroom. The photos were taken from the bell tower of the Saint Nicholas Church (Iglesia de San Nicolas) in the Albaicin district of Granada. Lacking my tripod I had to carefully brace the camera on the frame of the opening of the bell tower, which turned out to be harder than I thought it would be.
