Faded Glory - Great Smoky Mountains Sunset Landscape Cherokee North Carolina
Shot this image this past weekend while leading my yearly Blue Ridge Parkway Autumn Landscapes workshop in Western North Carolina. I love the soft pastel colors and contrasts that you frequently see as the sunset fades away into the blue hour, and we were lucky to see these conditions from an overlook above Cherokee, NC, as we ended our first day. I'm lucky to work with such great folks at these things who always make the experience so enjoyable, and I can't wait to get back out there for the next one! BTW, I have one spot open for the OBX workshop in a couple weeks if any of you would like to shoot some epic coastal stuff with us. Hope you enjoy the view :)
